It's a good shock - seems really well made on the outside (I'd say better than Fox), and tun-ability seems pretty good. But if you're a light rider like me and depending on your spring rate, it might be a bit heavily dampened for your liking. From what I hear from the local suspension techs it's not really an issue if you're heavier or the bike needs a heavier spring rate (I'm 145 and run a 350lb spring) but I found the DHX more sensitive to the fast, little stuff with my setup, which is why I switched.
